Forged Tools of Heirloom Quality

I visit the blacksmith shop of Paul Krzyszoski (Toronto Blacksmith) to watch him forge me a hewing axe (Viking broad axe style) for some upcoming timber frame building projects at my wilderness homestead (at the log cabin in the forest).

I recently had Lionel Bebbington come out to my shop and film the making of an axe, from start to finish. A special thank you to Lionel Bebbington for coming out and shooting this video! Why? The reason why, is because I make axes every day. Axes which are straight, functional, and practical. I wanted to make something I could hang in my office, something interesting, something different. This axe collects interest, yours and mine. Given the number of axes I've made in the past few years, the latter is difficult to achieve.
Paul Krzyszkowski traveled to Mississippi at the age of 16 to learn the art of blacksmithing. He never looked back, and at only 19 years of age now owns and operates his very own studio in Toronto crafting one of a kind tools.
